Julia Bryan-Wilson is a widely published art historian, critic, and award-winning author whose research spans handicraft, artistic labor, performance, and materiality. Her books include Art Workers: Radical Practice in the Vietnam War Era, Art in the Making, and Fray; Art and Textile Politics. She teaches at the University of California, Berkeley and is an adjunct curator at the Museu de Arte de São Paulo in Brazil.
